Hundred in India is special for Australians: Hussey

Bangalore: After his maiden Test hundred in India, Michael Hussey said it is a matter of pride for any Australian to score century here as the conditions are so challenging.
"It is always special to score a hundred in India, arguably the toughest place for the Australians to score," said Hussey, who scored 146 to guide Australia to a first innings total of 430.
Hussey said they had their chances while India was batting.
"We had few run out chances but it is a matter of luck. We intend to pick couple of Indian wickets early Saturday. It is tough to say which way the match is going because the wicket is still very dry and cracks are going to open as the match progresses."
Zaheer Khan, who was the most successful of Indian bowlers with a five wicket haul said it always feels good to get wickets against Australia.
"To get five wickets is something special. I enjoyed the spell. We bowled according to a plan which was to make run scoring difficult for them."
Zaheer was also all praise for young Ishant Sharma, who took four Australian wickets.
"Ishant is shaping up really well. He is working on his bowling. It is good to see a youngster coming up so good."
