Gurgaon IT exports touch $4.3 Bn
Chandigarh: IT and related services exports from north India's IT hub Gurgaon in Haryana touched the Rs.180 billion ($4.3 billion) mark in 2007-08.
A state government spokesman said here Wednesday that the growth of exports from Gurgaon was up by Rs.30 billion in 2007-08 over the previous year when it was Rs.150 billion.
He said the IT and related industry was growing in this Haryana town, adjoining Delhi, by over 40 percent.
Software exports from Gurgaon in 2005-06 were Rs.107 billion.
Big international names in the IT and related industry have their offices and workplaces in Gurgaon.
