Delhi clears seven projects worth $82.6 Mn
New Delhi: The delhi government Tuesday cleared seven energy and infrastructure development projects worth Rs.3.47 billion ($82.6 million).
Out of seven, four projects are related to public works department (PWD) and one each to power, land and building, and irrigation and flood control departments.
"Rs.1.26 billion has been sanctioned for supply, erection, testing and commissioning with complete civil works with automation of 400/220/66 KV sub-station at Mundka," said state Finance Minister A.K. Walia.
The projects were cleared in an expenditure finance committee (EFC) meeting, presided over by Walia.
"The project has been approved with an aim to meet the increased power requirements in the areas of west Delhi as well as to provide supply to Delhi Metro Rail Corp (DMRC) for its extension route in west Delhi near Mundka and the industrial area being developed in Swarn Park, Udyog Nagar," Walia said.
It will be executed on turnkey basis within 24 months from the date of award of work.
