New Delhi: Glass, bamboo, flowing water and blue lighting - the sets of the latest season of Zee TV'S popular talent hunt show "Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" has all this and more for luck's sake.
"This is not the first time that we have used Feng Shui. We have used it earlier also. We use it in set designing, for the right background and also, if you would have noticed, we have placed bamboo shoots on the judges' tables," show director Satish Datt told IANS on the phone from Mumbai.
There are four bamboo shoots placed on the table of each of the judges - music directors Pritam Chakraborty, Himesh Reshammiya, Aadesh Shrivastava and Shankar Mahadevan.
Said Feng Shui expert Charuhas Naik, who has been providing "lucky" tips to "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge" since 2005: "This time I have added the water feature to increase the show's energy level. Besides, everything on the sets has been arranged as per Feng Shui only.
"The present blue lighting has also been chosen keeping in mind the benefits. But whenever I feel the need to change it, I will because I want the show to be the best," Naik said.
According to Datt, the use of Feng Shui was subdued in the show's last edition. "Last time we had kept the sets very simple. The sets may look cluttered with the prominent use of bamboo and flowing water, but it is all for luck," he said.
