Ahmedabad: Reliance Retail launched the eighth Reliance Super mini-mart in Gujarat at Jamnagar Wednesday.
"There was no celebrity to inaugurate the store. We requested the first customer to cut the ribbon and light the inaugural lamp," a senior Reliance official told IANS from Jamnagar.
Other cities in Gujarat to have Reliance Super stores are Himmatnagar, Anand, Bharuch, Bhuj, Navsari, Ahmedabad and Vapi.
Spread across 16,000 square feet, the store will stock over 7,500 products, ranging from fresh produce and processed food to apparel, home appliances and automotive accessories.
Reliance's own apparel brands in select categories will also be available.
