Hungama appoints Rohan Deshpande as Associate Director
Mumbai: Hungama, South Asia's leading digital entertainment company, has announced the appointment of Rohan Deshpande as Associate Director - Wireless Technology. At Hungama, he is responsible for creating and executing the technology roadmap. This technological strategy will be devised using his expertise, keeping in mind the requirement of digital entertainment products and services in the Mobile business across wireless carriers within India and abroad. In addition, he will analyze the variety of technologies available and identifies the systems needed to architect a complete product offering that fits Hungama's goals.
Rohan brings with him eight years of rich experience in the Telecom sector and comprehensive knowledge in Solution Architecture for new products/technologies, Project Management, Business Process Analysis, Client Management and Consulting. He began his career with Tata Infotech as Engineer and worked with Bharti Cellular (AirTel) as Sr. Engineer-IN & VAS ? Western Region. He also worked with ADC (Metrica) Software, USA as Technical Account manager for India & South East Asia, and SmartTrust AB as Pre-Sales and Program Manager.
