About the author O. P. Sabherwal is a journalist who has dedicated thirty years to the profession for the most part as chief editor of Indian Press Agency (IPA), premier Indian news analysis service. He specializes on nuclear issues and has published over fifty articles on the subject in leading Indian newspapers and periodicals, including The Times of India, The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times and The Tribune. A memorable article by the author, espousing Indian nuclear tests, was published by The Times of India on the day the Pokhran II test series commenced, 11 May, 1998.
